Sandy is in the Heart of so much fun. It is in the middle of many larger Utah cities and within 30 minutes of each. These Include Draper, West Jordan and South Jordan, Salt Lake City, Bluffdale, Riverton, and Eagle Mountain. It is also twenty to thirty minutes away from most of the cities beyond the point of the mountain, like Lehi, and Springville.

In the city of Sandy is K1 speed which has electric go-Karts, The classic fun center, The South Town Mall, Jordan Commons Entertainment Megaplex where you can go out to dinner or catch a movie. You can also take a trip to the Lehi fun center as well. Where you can play mini golf, laser tag, arcade games, and most of the amusement rides, all included in the pass of all passes. You could purchase the pass for twenty dollars if you bought it at the beginning of the year. It is an amazing deal! My family bought it last year and it was the best thing you can do for entertaining your children. Their laser tag is the best around. Boondocks is in Draper, but their laser tag is nowhere close to as much fun as the Lehi fun centers. You can have a birthday party there, have some family fun or have a family get together. They bring real experience with good fun, and they have newly remodeled and have completely modernized the entire facility.

The South town mall is also newly renovated and is currently being renovated in some parts. It is made up of over 150 stores with many other small businesses surrounding it. With plenty of food places around. You can eat at a newer sub sandwich shop called “Potbelly’s”. They have incorporated their own unique and modern style and flavor with old school food. There is also a Krispy Kreme donut shop not far from the mall. There is a Chile’s and an Olive Garden nearby as well. There is also a smaller strip mall across the street called The Commons at SouthTowne. With a Burlington’s, a DSW shoe store, a Nordstrom, and a Tilly’s skate shop. Inside the mall, there are plenty of food places, clothing stores, and stores that just carry cool little trinkets and toys.

My husband’s parents came into town for Christmas a few weeks ago. They live in Oregon, so when they come it is a really big deal. We try to make the absolute, most of our time. His mom wasn’t feeling well so I took her shopping most days. My husband has always been very handy and recently built me a dining room table. We didn’t have enough chairs to fit all the spaces for our table. So, we checked out Pier 1 imports by The Shops at Southtown in Sandy. They have really neat items for reasonable prices. But I didn’t find anything I liked…meaning I didn’t find anything with a price tag I liked. My husband drove us there in our new Durango so while we were shopping for girly stuff, the boys all went over to Krispy Kreme for a donut.

Like I said before there are so many different things you can find to do in the Salt Lake valley and especially Sandy. Whether you’re visiting from out of state or live here, you will never be bored.
